Everyone, Everywhere

Daron Hagen's monumental human rights cantata Everyone, Everywhere, for chorus, children's chorus, soloists and orchestra was commissioned by The Cecilia Chorus of New York, Music Director Mark Shapiro. The cantata sets articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and quotes from human rights luminaries throughout history. Shapiro conducted the world premiere in Carnegie Hall in December 2023 and the European premiere in Geneva's Victoria Hall in 2024.
